ツインザーは 4 本のフィンを使いますが、クアッドとは異なります。各メインフィンのすぐ前方外側に、小さなカナードを 1 本ずつ配置します。カナードがメインフィンの上に渦を送り出すことで、メインフィンは本来より深い角度でも水をとらえ続けることができます。カナードは 2 本 1 組で販売しており、リアフィンは別売り、またはツインザーセットに含まれます。
このテンプレートについて
Brazie はこのカナードを小さく、内側に寄せて描いています。そのため普段はツインのように振る舞い、フェイスが立ってきたときにだけカナードのホールドが顔を出します。カント角は 3 種類。影響を最小にしたいなら 0°、標準的な選択は 4°、カナードを最大限に働かせたいなら 9° です。

The flat inside foil and small area add control and lift without dragging like a full side bite -- the looseness and feel of a two-fin setup with the maneuverability a plain twin can lack.
Our take
Buy these only for a Twinzer board, ideally paired with the Libra Twin they were designed around, and start at the middle angle setting before tuning. If you don't have canard boxes, or you want a complete matched four-fin set out of the box, these are the wrong purchase.
このフィンについて
The Valaric Canards are the small front fins from Jordan Brazie's Valaric Twinzer system, foiled by True Ames in FCS-compatible, single-tab solid fiberglass. They run a flat inside foil with selectable 0, 4, and 9 degree angle options and mount forward of and outside a rear twin. Brazie designed them to expand on the Libra Twin, the rear hybrid twin from the same collection; they are not standalone fins.
