Our take
This is a noseride fin with manners: it locks you in on the tip without turning your log into a board that only goes straight. Pick it for a classic 9-to-10-foot log when nose time is the priority but you still want to move the board around — if you want a tighter, quicker pivot, the Tappy 1 is the move.

The Velzy Noserider is Dale Velzy's single fin for longboard noseriding, foiled by True Ames, and the template has stayed essentially unchanged since Velzy drew it.
