The vast surface area holds the tail down so you can walk forward and hang on the nose, while the swept-back profile gives it drive when you set up off the bottom and come through a turn.
This rides like a noserider that actually goes somewhere: park it and walk and the area keeps the nose lifted, lean into the bottom turn and the rake gives you a longer, drawn-out arc instead of a dead stop. It's the fin for a classic log when you want planted nose time plus genuine drive — if you want a more upright, pure-pivot feel, go Yater Spoon.
