Not a full set: the 6-4 Rear Quad is a rear pair only, on a 60/40 foil, for making a quad you already own more powerful and more drawn out.

Two fins, sold to replace the back pair of a quad rather than to be a quad on their own. 3.90" deep on a 3.85" base, 11.73 square inches, FCS or Futures compatible — choose at checkout. The 60/40 foil is the point: more shape on the outside face than an ordinary rear fin carries, which is what makes the pair powerful. On the Futures base they are set more upright, at 2° of tilt. This is the hexcore build — the lighter of the two.

How that reads

The rear pair is what decides how a quad finishes a turn. More foil and a more upright angle mean more grip and more push, so turns come out long and controlled instead of pivoting off the tail — the opposite trade to the one a small, flat rear pair makes. True Ames' own line for the set is that you will have the confidence to charge; in plainer terms, it keeps holding when the wave stands up.

Who it suits

Quads ridden in bigger surf, and riders who are happy with the front fins of a set they already own but want the back of the board to hold through a bottom turn. The hexcore build is the lighter one, which puts a bit of life back into a pair drawn for control.
