The Fin
A three-fin set drawn by Matt Parker of Album Surfboards for regular-foot asymmetrical boards — one large toe-side fin and two smaller heel-side fins.
Sold as a set of three in solid fiberglass, FCS compatible, in black. An asymmetrical board has a different rail and a different tail on each side, so this set answers with different fins on each side instead of a mirrored pair: one big fin on the toe side, two small ones on the heel side. It is stance-specific — this is the regular-foot layout, and the fins are not interchangeable from one rail to the other. Album and True Ames developed and tested it together.
How that reads
The toe side is where a turn is driven from, so the single large fin goes there — base and area enough to hold a bottom turn and project out of it. The heel side does the tighter redirects, and gets two smaller fins instead: less area concentrated in any one place, so the tail comes round quickly and lets go when asked. Both rails stay engaged through the transition, which is the whole point of an asym.
Who it suits
Asymmetrical boards built around a regular-foot stance, with the three-plug layout to match. Surfers who ride one direction most of the time and want each rail set up for the job it actually does — driving off the bottom on one side, turning tight off the top on the other — rather than a compromise shared between them.

The larger toe-side fin harnesses power and drive off the bottom, while the smaller heel-side fins are tuned for tight, responsive redirection on the backhand.
Our take
If you surf regular-foot on an asymmetrical board built around an asym cluster, this set finishes the design: hard drive off the bottom on the toe side, tight snap off the top on the heel side. Goofy-foot riders want the goofy layout instead, and if you're on a standard symmetrical shape, a matched thruster or twin will serve you better.

The Album Asymmetrical Regular is a True Ames fin set designed by Matt Parker of Album Surfboards for asymmetrical surfboards, offered here in solid fiberglass with FCS-compatible tabs. The set is not symmetrical: the toe side carries a larger fin and the heel side runs smaller fins. The regular layout is keyed to a regular-stance rider; a separate goofy layout flips the toe and heel sides.
