Sold as a pair in solid fiberglass, Futures compatible, in clear. 5.63" deep on a 5.42" base is a lot of fin for a twin, and it stands upright with it, so the area sits under the board rather than trailing out behind it. The outline sweeps back gradually and the tip tapers off, which keeps a fin this size from feeling planted. Height and base together give it the surface area that turns into down-the-line drive.
How that reads
Area on a twin is what stops the board skating off its line, and there is plenty of it here — the board holds through a bottom turn instead of washing out the back. The upright stance points that area into drive down the line rather than long drawn arcs. Because the rake sweeps gradually and the tip is tapered, the fin still releases at the top of a turn, so rail-to-rail changes stay quick for something this tall.
Who it suits
Twin pins, eggy shapes, performance twins and longer fish. Surfers who found smaller twins too loose once the surf had some size, and who want the extra hold without going to a keel — a keel would trade the fast redirect for a longer, more locked-in turn.

This is a twin that tracks, not one that blows out or snaps through the lip. For the mid-length twin — a board like the Terrapin, or any egg you surf with intention — it delivers drive and hold without sacrificing the ability to pivot. Don't buy it for a shorter fish or if you want a twin that releases and squirts.
