Arai XD-4 Helmet

The Arai XD-4, an adventure-touring motorcycle helmet with a removable peak and a fully removable liner, in sizes S to XL.

Arai's XD-4 is the adventure-touring helmet in their range: a full-face shell with a removable floating peak, an anti-fog XD-4 face shield and brow vents, so it works with goggles off-road and with the shield down on the highway. The interior is a comfort headliner with FCS cheek pads, all of it removable, washable and replaceable. Where a plain street helmet gives you one fit, the XD-4's temple pads and cheek pads carry a 5mm peel-away layer, so the fit can be opened up where it presses. Sizes S to XL.

Protection

DOT and Snell M2020 approved. The shell shape is round and smooth for aerodynamic stability at higher street speeds, and the cheek pads use an emergency release system so responders can pull them out without lifting the helmet off a rider's head.

Fit

Sizes S to XL. The comfort headliner has micro-fitting 5mm peel-away temple pads and the FCS cheek pads carry a 5mm peel-away layer, so tight spots can be opened up rather than lived with. Liner, cheek pads and chinstrap covers all come out for washing.
