The Fin
A set of four Bonzer runners in solid fiberglass to Malcolm and Duncan Campbell's design, with 19° of cant already built in — the side fins for a five-fin Bonzer.
Sold as a set of four, FCS compatible, in clear. Two shorter fins for the front plugs and two taller, longer-based ones behind them — the runners that flank a Bonzer centre fin in the classic five-fin layout. The cant is built into the fin above the tabs at 19°, so nothing has to be angled at the box and there is no adjustment to make: they go in as they come. The centre fin is bought separately.
How that reads
Runners are long and low — nearly all base, very little depth — so they work along the rail like channels rather than standing up in the water as fins. Water coming off the bottom of the board is gathered and pushed aft between them and the centre fin, and that is where a Bonzer's drive and its distinctive held-in, accelerating feel come from. Almost none of it comes from the tip, because there is barely any tip; the cant is what turns the flow.
Who it suits
Bonzers and Bonzer-influenced boards with four side plugs and a centre box, run with a Bonzer centre fin rather than a thruster set. Replacement runners for a board that has lost or damaged a set, or a first fiberglass set for one that came with something else in the plugs.

Buy these to complete a five-fin Bonzer, paired with the matching center fin on a Bonzer-bottom board, where they deliver fast, drawn-out trim with serious drive and projection. They are not interchangeable with regular side bites and will not improve a board that was not shaped for the system.
More About This Fin
Set of four rail fins for the five-fin Bonzer system, designed by Malcolm and Duncan Campbell and built by True Ames in FCS-compatible solid fiberglass. The fins are low, delta-shaped and heavily canted, sized as a smaller front pair and a slightly larger rear pair. They are positioned so the leading edge of the Bonzer center fin lines up near the trailing edge of the rear runners, and they pair with a Bonzer center fin on a board with Bonzer bottom contours.
