The Heavy Tropix aviator in matte, sport-minded colourways, both of them polarized.
The sport build of Crap's best-selling aviator: the same squared acetate shape in matte finishes. It measures medium, so it fits a medium face cleanly and sits trim on a wide one, and the long temples help hold it in place while moving. Matte Smoke Bio / Polarized G15 is the neutral pair and Matte Shadow Bio / Polarized Sangria the warmer one. For hiking, paddling and anything where a glossy tortoise frame would be the wrong call.
Crap Eyewear The Heavy Tropix is the same frame in gloss and tortoise finishes; Crap Eyewear The Jazz Safari is a narrower aviator.
Frames made from plant-derived cellulose acetate — not petroleum plastic
Every pair hand-finished in Los Angeles with custom hardware
Full UVA/UVB protection with anti-scratch coating
Founded in 2009 in Los Angeles, Crap Eyewear makes handcrafted sunglasses from plant-based bioacetate with custom stainless steel hardware. Every frame starts as a flat sheet of cellulose acetate derived from cotton fiber and wood pulp — not petroleum. Designed in California, hand-finished in small batches, built to be worn hard.
