A small red 180 sits beside the fox head on both knees β Fox's other number, the race kit for everyone not drawing a factory salary, sold underneath the 360 flagship and sold by the ton. In black, grey and white, with FOX on both thighs, FOXRACINGINC. running down the outer legs and a moulded plate of the same across the back yoke, it is the quiet version of a loud company. Fox began in February 1974 as The Moto-X Fox, a mail-order parts outfit run out of Campbell, California by Geoff Fox, a Santa Clara physics professor whose first real hit was an English-language service manual for CZ motorcycles β roughly 5,000 copies at $7.50 each. Clothing was an afterthought until 1977, when the race team turned up in Fox gear on a Sunday and the phone rang on Monday. The head in the O has been on more mall shelves than start gates ever since.
Vintage Fox Racing 180 motocross pants in black, grey and white. Fox logos on the thighs, Fox head knee patches with red 180 badges, FOX RACING INC down the outer legs, white and grey panels.
