Gato Heroi | 6'10" Roach

A departure from most of the other Gato Heroi models, the Roach design is made for people who are used to riding conventional shortboards and looking to transition to single fin boards, with their rolled bottom displacement hulls through the entire length of the board.

The Roach features a rolled entry to double concave in the tail. With rounded, thick rails and wide outline, this board paddles well without needing a ton of volume and works in a wide variety of conditions. Combines the speed and maneuverability of a shortboard with the hold of a single fin.

Robin designed this board specifically for travel and would be flat enough to be fast and work in average waves but would have enough foam to paddle into bigger waves and hold in if it got hollow. Clear Deck,
