A soft wide-brim hat from Gato Heroi's FLIGHT line, sewn in California from leftover board-bag sailcloth.
Gato Heroi based the Catfish on the sou'wester hat produced in the early 19th century and sews it in California from remnants of board-bag and other FLIGHT collection fabric. Each one comes out different: the colour blocking, the piping and any sail numbers or original stitching depend on which offcuts the hat was cut from, and the fading is the sail's, not a finish. One size, hang dry only. The Crème Cap and the gH ~ Bucket are the same material in a cap and a bucket shape.
Fit and sizing
One size. Gato Heroi publishes no crown or brim measurement, and because the panels come from different offcuts the colourway named on the listing is the hat itself rather than a representative photo.
