Design Details
The Fun Zone pushes the wide point forward for early entry and natural trim speed. The flat deck transitions into a beveled rail, giving it a unique feel underfoot. Green density foam construction with 6oz glass and sanded gloss finish—built to last. Single fin box with side bites lets you dial in the feel from loose cruiser to locked-in trimmer.
How It Rides
Forgiving and fun. The extra width and thickness make it easy to paddle, and the wide-point-forward outline catches waves early. The side bites add hold when you push through turns, but it still has the glide and flow of a single fin. A good daily driver for a range of conditions.
The Shaper
Hand-shaped by Jacob Ells in Ojai, California. Ells came to surfboard shaping from snowboarding and laser engineering—a background he considers a creative advantage. His boards are known for avant-garde outlines, intricate airbrushed symmetry, and unconventional foam distributions. Every Jive board gets hand-laminated fiberglass and a sanded gloss finish.
