Josh Farberow Pro Model (Volan)

While keeping true to many of the classic design features of the beloved "Farb Flex", tweaks were made to increase performance in both noseriding and maneuverability. Josh started by increasing both the base width and rake to provide increased drive off the bottom and more stability while on the nose. Additional flex was added to the design by thinning the foil in the tip of the fin as well as pairing the fin with our Volan fiberglass in order to create optimal flex and increased projection. The Faberow Flex Volan Pro Model is a well balanced fin that will work well in a variety of longboards, while increasing performance. Our Volan fins are fine-tuned with precision foils as well as proper flex. Crafted with a labor of love, these fins undergo the strictest quality control. Our Volan panels are meticulously hand-laid and templated ensuring optimal weave orientation and superior strength, with flex coming more from the body rather than just the tip. This enhances speed and projection off the bottom and through turns, making our Volan fins a pinnacle of the highest performance flex characteristics.
