With plenty of area providing hold on the nose, the cutaway base allows for high style cutbacks and big bottom turns.

Designer Bio: Justin Quintal's longboard fin work is best represented by his Cutty and Pivot models, which consciously split his approach into a more drivey, carving template (Cutty) and a more upright, nose-focused template (Pivot). Between those two, he uses base width, rake, and flex to toggle between fast, tight-radius turning and maximum tip-time stability.
