Lovelace Side Bonzer Runners

Ryan Lovelace's Side Runners, FCS compatible solid fiberglass — small side fins for a hull or a displacement-hull-inspired board.

Lovelace builds displacement hulls and mid-lengths, and the Side Runners are drawn for those boards specifically rather than adapted from a shortboard side bite.

What they do

A hull is meant to trim and to be turned off the rail, not off the tail. The Side Runners add just enough hold to keep the tail from washing out in a steeper section, without adding the tail-driven pivot that would fight what the hull is trying to do.

Who it suits

Hulls, mid-lengths and eggs with side plugs, for a rider who wants to keep the trimming feel intact.
