Ozzy's own ink was the design brief: the 1992 "Tattoo" all-over print turned his tattoos into sheet after sheet of flash β grinning blue demon, skull and crossbones, roses, a MOM ribbon straight off a sailor's bicep, a cross bleeding into the flowers β and wrapped it edge to edge around a black tee, with the gold Ozzy Osbourne plaque sitting in the middle like the shop's sign. Defunkd's records show originals tagged by Winterland Productions, the concert-merch giant, and the design turns up at WyCo, Black Shag and the auction houses whenever a copy shakes loose. The date matters: 1992 was No More Tours, the farewell tour Ozzy took back three years later, and the merch went out at maximum volume accordingly. All-over prints were the early-90s arms race of band merchandise β costlier to produce, printed in smaller runs β which is why this one sits in the collected tier of Ozzy graphics rather than the pile.
