The Details
Start at the collar: the neck tag reads Oneita Power-T, the white-and-red label of the American mill whose heavyweight blanks carried half the printed shirts of the 1990s — the kind of detail collectors check before they look at the art. The art repays the look anyway. It's the complete Pantera identity kit on one all-over print: the band caught mid-set in a photo collage, PANTERA sprayed across them in green graffiti caps, VULGAR DISPLAY OF POWER ghosted at the top, a red COWBOYS FROM HELL banner at the hem — both era-defining albums, 1990 and 1992, on the same shirt — with a weed leaf on one sleeve, a longhorn skull on the other, and green handwriting scrawled over everything like a notebook page that got loose. Where the Metallica montages of the period stacked album covers, this stacks attitude: Texas, smoke, volume, and a logo that looks spray-painted onto the band, which is the whole idea.
