A teal foam dolphin on a ball chain that keeps dropped keys at the surface, made for Pemulis Water & Power.
A foam dolphin printed PEMULIS · Outer Sunset, SF, on a ball-chain key ring. The foam does the work: clip it to a set of keys for the beach, the boat or the dock, and if the keys go in the water the dolphin holds them at the surface where they can be grabbed. It is a shop keychain rather than a rated flotation device — sized for keys, not for anything heavier. Ships from San Francisco.
Open the ball chain, thread it through the key ring, close it again. Buoyancy is limited by the size of the foam, so it will hold up a house key or two; a loaded ring with a multitool or a heavy car fob can sink it. Worth testing in a sink before trusting it off a dock.
