The small keel on the toe-side offers great drive and projection while still allowing for vertical pivot off the bottom; The quad setup on the heel-side will lend towards clean cutbacks and seamless redirections.

Buy this only if you are on a regular-foot asymmetrical board built for it — there it makes the board feel balanced under both feet rather than strong one way and vague the other. Know that the solid keel template runs stiff, leaning toward drive and projection over snappy vertical pivot, and on a standard symmetrical twin or fish it is simply the wrong fin.

Ryan Lovelace's asymmetrical fin set for regular-foot surfers, made by True Ames in FCS-compatible solid fiberglass. The set places a small keel on the toe-side rail and a quad cluster on the heel side, and pairs with asymmetrical boards designed for a regular stance. A mirrored Goofy version is made for goofy-foot asym boards.
