The Fin
The Pavel Powerglide was designed in collaboration with San Diego shaper Rich Pavel, a man known for being driven by unique possibilities. This fin is a prime illustration of that. It incorporates a wide base that transitions seamlessly to a narrow tip, and features a healthy amount of rake. Together these elements create a hybrid design. Its wide base provides a good amount of hold, while its low profile translates to forgiveness and versatility; it’s very responsive so you can get a bit more critical with it.

This is the single fin for a classic to all-around longboard when you want to noseride and actually turn off one template. If your priority is locked-down nose time above all, a heavier dedicated noserider holds longer; if you want a more classic single-fin-era feel with slightly less base, the Nat Young is the alternative.
