Geoff Fox was lecturing physics at Santa Clara when he opened Moto-X Fox in a 1,500-square-foot building in Campbell, California, in February 1974 β a parts and suspension outfit, not a clothing label. The logo came second: an ad agency talked him into one, and artist Bob Baptiste drew the fox head in 1975 for $300. The apparel came third, and by accident. When Team Moto-X Fox turned up in 1977 wearing gear the shop had made by hand, the phone rang on Monday with riders asking where to buy it, and a gear company backed into existence. Everything on this jersey descends from that sequence: the head sits dead center of the chest, blown up to the size of a number plate, with FOXRACINGINC. squared off across both shoulders and FOX filling the back. Blue, yellow and gray panels, cut long with a V-neck β a logo carrier before it is a shirt, which is the whole point of a race jersey.
Vintage Fox Racing motocross jersey in yellow, blue, and grey colorway. Features large Fox head logo on chest with "FOXRACINGINC." sleeve prints. V-neck long sleeve design.
