Kevin Connelly の KC Tri。中間の体重帯のサーファーに向けたオールラウンドなスラスターセットで、FCS 互換、ソリッドファイバーグラス製です。
鋭いピボットよりも、なめらかでパワフルなターンを軸に組み立てられた三本セット。アークの終わりでフィンが荷重から解放されるだけのティップのしなりを備えています。こちらはソリッドファイバーグラスのバージョンで、二つの積層のうち重く、手応えのはっきりしたほうです。テンプレートはデプス 4.67"、ベース 4.56"、面積 15.71 sq in です。
乗り味について
硬いスラスターとこのセットを分けているのはティップのしなりです。荷重でティップがわずかにたわみ、ターンから抜けるときに弾き返すので、テンプレートから想像するよりも軽い力でカットバックが返ってきます。ボディは硬いままなので、そのためにドライブやホールドを手放してはいません。

Our take
Run it on a thruster shortboard or performance hybrid when you want smooth, powerful turns and the planted, connected feel of solid glass, especially if you fall in the middle-weight range. If you want the same template lighter and livelier, go Hexcore; if you'd rather slide the tail loose than carve through it, look at a release-oriented quad instead.

The KC Tri Fiberglass is a True Ames thruster set in solid fiberglass with an FCS-compatible base. The template is a medium thruster outline with moderate rake, a solid base, and flex concentrated in the tip rather than the body; the solid-glass layup makes it heavier and more planted than a foam-core fin. It is aimed at middle-weight, all-around surfers on thruster shortboards and performance hybrids, and the same template is also offered in lighter Hexcore construction.
