3.7" のサイドバイト2本セット、ソリッドファイバーグラス、Futures 対応。シングルフィンのボードを 2+1 にする、小さなアウトサイドフィンです。
サイドバイトはシングルフィンのボードを 2+1 に変えます。舵を取るのはあくまでセンターフィンで、2本の小さなフィンがターン中の粘りと、ボトムからのドライブを加えます。引き換えに、シングルフィン単体が持つルースでピボットの効いた感触は多少失われます。だからこそ、サイズ選びが本当の判断どころになります。
このサイズについて
3.7" は中間に位置し、多くの方が最終的に選ぶサイズです。3.25" よりも粘りとドライブがはっきりと増しますが、テールを固定してしまうほどではありません。

The intent is hold without character change: the fin wakes up on rail and otherwise stays out of the center fin's way. It is the size True Ames flags as its most recommended for longboard 2+1 setups.
The safe middle of the side bite range: pair them with a 7 to 7.5 inch cutaway center on a 9-foot board and let them plant the tail through turns a pure single would wash out of. Size down to the 3.25 to keep a mid-length's single-fin glide intact, or up to the 4.0 for steep, overhead surf.
