このフィンについて
Mini Trailer は True Ames が作るセンターフィンの中で最も小さいものです。クアッドの五本目として、あるいはスラスターのごく小さなセンターとして使えます。
ソリッドファイバーグラス製、スモークとクリア。ほとんど存在を感じさせないことを狙ったトレーラーで、極薄のフォイルが抵抗を最小限に抑えつつ、ツインやクアッド、パフォーマンススラスターのクラスターの後ろで、ボードの後方にわずかな安定とコントロールを与えます。トライフィンのセッティングで小さなセンターとして使うと、その大きさからは想像できないほどボードの感触が変わります。
乗り味について
ボード後方のセンターフィンはテールをラインに保つ役割で、どれだけ保つかは面積次第です。このフィンのように面積をほぼ削り取ると、センターフィンなしで走るのに近いリリースが得られながら、それに付きまとう曖昧な滑り感は出ません。ファイブフィンのボードではクアッドとファイブフィンの中間の設定になり、スラスターのリアボックスではテールから錨を外すように働きます。FCS ベースはタブが二つではなく一つなので、前後どちらのスロットにも入ります。前ならピボット寄り、後ろならドライブ寄りです。
こんな方に
五つ目のボックスがあるクアッド、センターボックスのあるツイン、そしてテールのロックを外したいスラスターに。トレーラーにリリースではなくホールドを求めるなら、2.5" と 3.3" のトレーラーが一段ずつ上のサイズになります。

A small nubster-style center fin from True Ames in solid E-glass with an FCS-compatible single-tab base, sold as a single fin. The foil is ultra-thin to minimize drag, and the single-tab mount can be positioned forward for a looser feel or back for more drive and hold.
