Wayne Rich 4.0" のサイドバイト2本セット、ソリッドファイバーグラス、Futures 対応。シングルフィンのボードを 2+1 にする、小さなアウトサイドフィンです。
サイドバイトはシングルフィンのボードを 2+1 に変えます。舵を取るのはあくまでセンターフィンで、2本の小さなフィンがターン中の粘りと、ボトムからのドライブを加えます。引き換えに、シングルフィン単体が持つルースでピボットの効いた感触は多少失われます。だからこそ、サイズ選びが本当の判断どころになります。
このサイズについて
4.0" は3つのなかで最もフィンらしいサイズです。粘りが最も強く、ドライブも最も大きく、ボードの回り方への影響も最も大きくなります。大きめのボード、あるいは本物の波でラインを保つためのサイズです。
構造
ソリッドファイバーグラスは2つの構造のうち硬く重いほうで、しなりは少なく、よりダイレクトなドライブをもたらします。
テンプレートについて
Rich が描くサイドバイトは、当社標準のテンプレートよりレイクが大きく、即座の噛みつきをわずかに譲るかわりに、より長く滑らかな弧を生みます。

Slightly more upright than a standard side bite, with a thinner tip and some relief through the trailing edge — they turn with precision rather than just adding drag, gripping the rail hard when the board is leaned over.
Run these with a dropped-down center fin on a performance longboard or mid-length 2+1 when you're a bigger rider or surfing bigger waves and want maximum rail hold — ideally paired with the Power Tilt center they were designed around. If you want a looser feel or you're on a smaller board, go with the 3.4" Wayne Rich Side Bites instead.
