The Fin
The DELTA-V is Manny Caro's twin fin for Mandala — a full outline with moderate rake, drawn to suit a wide spread of twin fin boards.
A twin pair in solid fiberglass, FCS compatible, in clear or smoke. 5.31" tall on a 5.20" base with 20.35 square inches a side: a full template rather than an upright one, with moderate rake carried through the tip. Caro drew it as the adaptable one — balanced curves rather than anything pushed to an extreme — which is why it lands on so many different boards and works across a range of conditions. Solid fiberglass makes it stiff.
How that reads
Full base with moderate rake is a combination that holds. The board keeps its line off the bottom instead of sliding out from under the back foot, and the turn comes round as one long arc rather than pivoting. The stiff flex means what you put into the fin comes straight back out as drive — off the bottom and through the lip — with none of it absorbed. Nothing in the outline is exaggerated, which is the point of it.
Who it suits
Twin fin boards generally: fish, modern twins, mid-lengths with two boxes. A sensible set if you want stability out of a twin without giving up the drawn-out turn, and a good first twin if you are coming off a thruster and do not want the tail to feel loose underneath you.

A full template with moderate rake, sized to sit between a loose upright twin and a drivey keel — the stiff fiberglass flex holds its shape under load so the board projects off the bottom and stays committed through a hard rail turn.
Our take
This is the twin to buy when one set has to handle everything from waist-high to overhead on an egg or hybrid twin: smooth, powerful turns with more stability than a small upright twin while staying looser than a wide keel. If you want keel glide and long fast lines instead, go Lovelace Piggyback Keel or Mackie Sidecut Fish Keel.

The Delta-V Twin is a two-fin set designed by Manny Caro of Mandala Custom Shapes and made by True Ames in solid fiberglass; this is the FCS-compatible version, sold as a twin set.
