Yoshinori Ueda, also known as Y.U, played a pivotal role in the era and heyday of the Lightning Bolt brand through shaping and making these boards available to the public in Japan. Y.U's 70's model pays tribute to the designs, aesthetics, and type of surfing that was achieved through such a iconic era in our sport. This fin features a wide base, with a somewhat upright template, and a narrower tip which pairs well with pintails, rounded pins, or any type of narrower single fin that like some juice. This fin will offer hold where you need it, pivot oriented turning, and if you close your eyes mid-bottom turn - it might just transport you back in time to the golden era.
